About Adam

I am a practicing physician in Orange County, where I live with my wife and four young children. I am a muslim and I started Riverburst to organize activities and collaborate in events that help men and boys in the muslim community become stronger in areas currently not emphasized. I am an NRA-certified and professionally insured handgun instructor, and an NRA-certified range safety officer. I train in barbell lifts, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, backpacking, and road cycling, teach children basic qur’an at Sunday school, and help organize volunteer security at the local mosque. My advocacy for these and other activities, and my support of religious learning is not meant to suggest that I’ve achieved some level of expertise or rank in them or that I am knowledgeable or skilled. I am just a student like everyone else and I look forward to learning from you;  I am flawed and appreciate your correcting me. If you see me astray, please guide me and talk to me before you talk to others about me.
